My name is Joe, and I'm just a "regular guy tryin' to make a livin".
As you may be aware, doing so isn't always as easy as it sounds, especially when there are factors arrayed against you that preclude you from just getting a "regular 9-to-5 job"...
For example, you may face:
- A lack of formal education
- A physical disability
- A medical condition
- A lack of viable child-care options
- A dearth of jobs within a reasonable radius of your home,
- A sad realization that you're nowhere close to reaching your true potential
- A fervent desire to strike out on your own
- A confidence that you have what it takes to succeed in your own business
- A certainty that you're just "not a regular 9-to-5 guy"
- A secret fear that you'll die wondering what might have happened if you had only had the courage to take the next step...
If so, then this blog is for you! :-)
This is what we're all about: Taking that next step.
We'll explore realistic options for moving out of other peoples (meager) expectations for our lives, and seek out our true callings, careers with purpose and possibilities, that fire our imaginations and fill us with such passion that we can't wait for Monday to roll around so that we get to do it all again!
Life, I'm thinking, will have to be ever-so-much sweeter when we figure out our "true purpose"...
Oh yeah, about the blogs title:
We will also explore what the Word of God ( I am a believer. Non-believers feel free to read, participate, and agree-to-disagree if you wish. Keep it civil, however, or all that time you spent typing flaming retorts will be wasted, as I'll just make it all go "POOF!") has to say on the subjects of money and business ethics.
God has a perfect plan for us.
"A plan to prosper [us], not to harm [us]".
We'll talk more on exactly what that means. Check back soon...
-J
